A member of our staff will welcome you at the main dock and whisk you to our Aventura Lodge for check in and equipment fitting.
Your day of Scuba Diving will let you experience the incredible variety of marine life that make the Galapagos one of the top dive destinations in the world. You will enjoy a 2 tank dive with Red Mangrove Dive Center, a Padi Resort. On the dives be on the lookout for eagle or manta rays, hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, a colorful array of tropical fish, and more.

Enjoy lunch "a la carte" in our beautiful Red Mangrove Restaurant on the waterfront, well recognized by the quality and exquisite flavors of our menu.
After lunch you will have a guided tour of the National Park's Tortoise Breeding Center and the Charles Darwin Research Center. Founded in 1964, the Darwin Center is dedicated to the study and preservation of the natural wonder that is Galapagos. The station is supported by over 100 scientists and researchers from around the world, and has been instrumental in the conservation of the islands.
The Charles Darwin Research Station is also home to the world-famous Lonesome George. He was discovered in 1971 on Pinta island and is the very last of his kind. You will get to see lonesome George as well as a close-up view of other giant tortoises on your visit. After visiting the Research Center you will be delivered back to the main dock for your shuttle back to the cruise ship in the late afternoon.
